MINICAMP OPEN TO PUBLIC

As part of its
commitment to player
growth and
development, the
coaching staff of
the Tampa Bay Fire
periodically holds
Minicamps” which
are intensive
sessions with the
coaching staff
emphasizing
positional,
transitional, and
situational skill
sets. Led by Paul
Goldsmith, the
minicamp is required
for all Fire players
at all levels. The
mini camp is also
open to all area
lacrosse players
interested in
developing their
individual skills
and learning more
about the Fire
program free of charge.The first
minicamp of the 2008
season will be held
Friday, May 9, 2008,
from 6:00pm to
9:00pm. The minicamp
will be held at our
practice facilities
at Northlakes
Recreation Center.
There is no charge
for the camp. Please
contact your head
coach if you have

the minicamp or our

hosting the 2nd annual
Dick's Sporting Goods
Tournament of Champions.
The event will be held
at the new Wesley Chapel
District Park at 7727
Boyette Road, Wesley
Chapel, Florida. Games
start on Saturday at
8:00 am and will
continue through Sunday
5:00 PM. 21 teams will
participate in the Elite
division and
4 in the Rising stars
division. Clinics,
giveaways, and
competitions will be
running in addition to
the games. College
coaches will be in
attendance to

Combine. This weekend
event will integrate the
Fire's 2008 tryouts
(U19,U17,U15 and U13)

skills and development
camp. The camp will be
staffed with MLL
Lacrosse Players, NCAA
college coaches, and
outstanding high school
coaches. There will
also be a complementary
coaches clinic and
officials clinic that
