WESLEY CHAPEL HIGH SCHOOL IN-SCHOOL LACROSSE PROGRAM
 July. 6th, 2009 - Beginning the 2010 boys lacrosse season, Wesley Chapel High School will be forming in-school lacrosse clubs at the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels. BAY AREA SAND SHARKS TRYOUTS
 Mar. 13th, 2009 - The Bay Area Sand Sharks Lacrosse program will be conducting team try-outs April 28 – May 1 at Northlakes Park.  In 2009, the Sand Sharks will have U-13, U-15, U-17 & U-19 travel teams.  The program is open to lacrosse players ages 12-18.  The summer session will run May-July, 2009.  The fall session will run September-November, 2009.  This summer, our teams will be participating in showcase tournaments in Florida and one out of state tournament.  Please visit our team website at http://www.leaguelineup.com/sandsharks or call 813-837-0794.  The deadline for players to register for team try-outs is April 20.

TAMPA TRIBE EVALUATION CAMP - MAY 3RD, 9AM TO 4PM
 Feb. 16th, 2009 - The Tampa Tribe will hold their evaluations for all teams on Sunday, May 3rd at Wesley Chapel District Park, 7727 Boyette Rd, Wesley Chapel.  This camp will be structured to measure the skill-sets of each and every player through a unique format of drills.  The staff will include High School Coaches, College Coaches and players who have earned All-American honors as well as National Players of the Year.  The camp will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm with a 1 hour break for lunch.  The concession stand will be open but on a limited menu and it is recommended that all participants bring their own lunch.

WCAA HOLIDAY ELITE CAMP

TAMPA TRIBE REGISTRATIONS
 Dec. 1st, 2008 - The WCAA Tampa Tribe has opened registration for HS boys and girls to compete in the DICK'S Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions. The DSG TOC is an internationally recognized high school club lacrosse championship being held in Wesley Chapel on January 2, 3 & 4, 2009.
The Tribe will hold open practices each Sunday at 12pm to 2pm and each Wednesday at 6:30pm to 8:30pm starting Sunday 11/30 through 1/2/09. Our roster will be set on Wednesday, December 10th so contact us as soon as possible.
There is no tryout fee or tournament fee, only a nominal registration fee to cover uniforms and miscellaneous costs.
Interested lacrosse players must contact us at lacrosse@wcaafla.org as soon as possible as registration openings are limited.

SOUTH TAMPA STICKS LACROSSE PATRONS PARTY
 Oct. 1st, 2008 - The South Tampa Sticks youth lacrosse program, along with the Plant High School lacrosse program, will be hosting a party at the  New World Brewery at Ybor City in Tampa on Friday October 17th at 8:00pm.  The party is to help raise money to build lacrosse fields in South Tampa.  There will be live music, food, beverages, raffles, cigars, and more.  For more information, email leighhunt@verizon.net or jbeczack@aol.com.

Citrus Park Lacrosse Youth Goalie Clinic - August 16, 2008
 Aug. 11th, 2008 - Citrus Park will be holding a youth goalie clinic on August 16th.  The clinic format is designed to maximize knowledge and skill retention. FROGS PLAYING FOR CHAMPIONSHIP IN VAIL - JULY 1ST
July. 1st, 2008 - The FROGS will face the Adidas Magic Wands today in the Super Masters Championship game at the Vail Shootout.  The FROGS have been turning heads with impressive upset victories throughout the tournament, but as the championship game approaches, the FROGS are now considered a legitimate contender for the championship.

TAMPA BAY FIRE FREE MINICAMP OPEN TO PUBLIC
Apr. 22nd, 2008 - As part of its commitment to player growth and development, the coaching staff of the Tampa Bay Fire periodically holds Minicamps” which are intensive sessions with the coaching staff emphasizing positional, transitional, and situational skill sets. Led by Paul Goldsmith, the minicamp is required for all Fire players at all levels. The mini camp is also open to all area lacrosse players interested in developing their individual skills and learning more about the Fire program free of charge.The first minicamp of the 2008 season will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The minicamp will be held at our practice facilities at Northlakes Recreation Center. There is no charge for the camp. Mar. 25th, 2008 - Our Tampa Bay area U-17 & U-15 lacrosse program is designed as an opportunity to advance  lacrosse skills through weekly practice, games and tournament play throughout the state of Florida during the summer and fall of 2008.  We are dedicated to teaching our players a high level of lacrosse, sportsmanship, and a true love & respect of the sport of lacrosse. TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS IN WESLEY CHAPEL JAN. 5TH AND 6TH
 Jan. 3rd, 2008 - The Wesley Chapel Athletic Association, Wesley Chapel Warriors and Tampa Tribe will be hosting the 2nd annual Dick's Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions. The event will be held at the new Wesley Chapel District Park at 7727 Boyette Road, Wesley Chapel, Florida. Games start on Saturday at 8:00 am and will continue through Sunday 5:00 PM. 21 teams will participate in the Elite division and 4 in the Rising stars division. Clinics, giveaways, and competitions will be running in addition to the games. College coaches will be in attendance  to scout the next Gary Gait.

 Oct. 25th, 2007 - The National Lacrosse League and the PLPA have announced the reaching of a new seven-year collective bargaining agreement, salvaging the 2008 NLL season.

 Oct. 22nd, 2007 - The Tampa Bay Fire in conjunction with Black Bear Lax is sponsoring the Tampa Bay Lacrosse Combine.  This weekend event will integrate the Fire's 2008 tryouts (U19,U17,U15 and U13) and a comprehensive skills and development camp.  The camp will be staffed with MLL Lacrosse Players, NCAA college coaches, and outstanding high school coaches.  There will also be a complementary coaches clinic and officials clinic that weekend.  Players will have the option of attending the camp, tryout, or both.  For more information go to http://www.TBFire.com and click on Tampa Bay Combine.

TAMPA BAY FIRE MINI CAMP - NOVEMBER 4TH
 Oct. 22ND, 2007 - The Tampa Bay Fire is holding an open mini camp to the public on Sunday November 4th from 9AM to 1PM @ Northlakes Recreation Complex 2640 N. Lakeview Dr. Tampa (right turn just north of Gaither High School).  No fee to participate.
